Amanda Kaay

Art Director

Art and music inspire me every day. I love to get on Instagram and scroll through my well-curated feed of artists and makers. There are so many amazing creatives out there, I can’t help but feel inspired just looking at their work and getting so many ideas.

What is one thing you love about working at Bovitz/ION/Communify?

I love the company support, the range of projects we get to work on, and the wonderful teamwork that comes from a smart and talented group of people.

Tell me about a life-changing experience you’ve had.

Watching my dad go through cancer was probably the biggest life-changing experience I’ve had. The depths of pain and compassion I had never felt before resulted in a big shift. I’m definitely more aware of the thin line between life and death for myself and all of those around me, and more grateful of the joys of life.

What's something that people are surprised to learn about you?

Most people can easily tell I’m an introvert but wouldn’t know I love to get on stage and perform music for an audience.

Why is being people-first important to you?

People are the driving force behind everything, and treating them well is crucial to operating at their highest capacity. Having a well-rounded work-life balance is so important to staying happy, and staying happy is important to being productive. It all starts with putting people first.
